Connect more tools. Keep deciding what they can do.

Bellfly can call external tools to read a source, work with files or carry out an action. Connecting a tool gives the work a new option, not unlimited access.

Start with what the task needs.

A research task might need a document search. A file task might need a converter. Choose a compatible tool, decide which information it may receive and keep the operation within the task.

  1. Choose the source or operation.

  2. Connect the tool and confirm access.

  3. Let the agent use it for the agreed task.

  4. Check what came back or changed.

Reading and changing are different permissions.

Allowing a search does not automatically allow a deletion, purchase or message. External agents can send requests or drafts; they cannot approve their own work on your behalf.

Decide the limits

If a tool stops working, keep what is known.

Bellfly records the blocked step and retains completed work. Before repeating an operation that may have changed an external system, it checks what actually happened. A different tool or wider access may need your decision.
